In response to the overwhelming need for supportive services for low-income and first-generation youth, combined with our experience with leadership and workforce development programming, Canji has developed a scaffolding of supportive services for this population.

Programming Opportunities are divided into Character Development counseling and guidance components, a youth leadership ambassador program, life and employability skill training, conflict resolution and anger management, literacy and vocational skills training as well as employment and onboarding services.

Through the scaffolding of support detailed above, successful youth in our program will walk away with the ability to self-manage, solve problems and understand professional environments. Additionally, they will be able to work well as part of a team, have proficient time management and be able to adapt to different roles and flexible working environments. Our overarching goal for this component is that our participants will have the potential to lead by positive influence.

In collaboration with other providers and local sponsors, Canji will provide nutritional meals and snacks to youth during programming hours. When possible, Canji will provide food baskets for their families. Click here to LEARN MORE about sponsorship and community partnership opportunities.
